Drugal (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the app.

Data we process

Camera access

Drugal requests camera permission (android.permission.CAMERA) only to:

• scan barcodes,
• capture receipt images,
• run on-device OCR (text recognition).

Camera data is processed on-device for these features. We do not sell camera data.

Account and cloud data

If you sign in (for example with Google/Firebase Auth), authentication identifiers may be processed to provide account features. If cloud sync/storage features are enabled, your app content is stored in your project backend (Firebase services used by the app).

Notifications

If enabled by you, the app may use notifications for reminders.

How we use data

We use data only to provide core app functionality (inventory/scan/OCR/auth/sync/reminders), improve reliability, and ensure security.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers used by the app (e.g., Firebase/Google services) strictly to operate the app.

Data retention

Data is retained only as long as needed for app functionality and legal/security requirements, or until you delete your account/data where applicable.

The deletion page explains:

• how to submit a deletion request,
• what data is deleted,
• what data may be temporarily retained and retention periods.

Your choices

• You can deny camera permission, but scan/OCR features will not work.
• You can uninstall the app at any time.
• Where applicable, you can request deletion of your account/data.

Children

The app is not intended for children under the age required by local law without parental consent.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data.
